Like all mums, I adore my babies. Especially when they are asleep. Master 10 attends a private school, and has recently taken a really strong interest in religion. Whilst I have a fairly strong knowledge of the bible and Christianity, hubby does not. So when Master 10 comes home asking dad questions, he just finds it too hard to answer. It reminds me of the “Emperor Nasi Goreng” advert with the rabbit proof fence – aka the Great Wall of China.

So, to prevent Master 10 from standing up in chapel and telling pastor, teacher and class that Jeremiah was a bullfrog, (which would be dad’s version), Grandma bought him a bible for his birthday.

Last night, master 10 went to sleep reading up on something so that he could educate his dad. There’s the bible (and the torch, in case we need a quick midnight religous instruction) and the boy and the bears and the bed. Life is so simple when you are kid.
