Today, I had lunch with the lovely Bush Babe and her husband, Mr Incredible. Violet and Dash were there, as well as another lovely friend of BB’s with her 2 children.
I have to tell you – they are all LOVELY. Not at all the 2 headed axe murders that people think they may meet on the Internet.
Bush Babe is stunningly gorgeous and her husband is quite an eyefull :) The children are well mannered and so gorgeous, they are the picturebook family.
Oh – and there’s no photographic evidence. How slack are we?
Lunch was lovely and I hope we get to do it again.
Oh – and the gossip wasn’t bad either… Thanks BB and family, travel back to your place of residence safely.

My husband famously said, after meeting a blogger in real life “Hmmm. She was just a normal person.”
Isn’t it lovely to find a normal person and enjoy their company in real life too?

The more I read of blog meets, the more attractive they become! I love reading of these meets!

Rhubarb, my dear, your cheque is in the mail!!! Heavens… I am blushing, and Mr I has read this and slunk off quite red-faced. Tee hee. As for Dash and Violet – nothing like 48 hours of flat-out city socialising to memerise them into momentary stillness!
Thanks so much for making the effort to meet up with us – it got tricky but you hung in there. And despite some nerves (my first official ‘blog meet’) it worked out wonderfully…
Oh, and in case anyone out there is wondering what the author of this blog looks like… blonde and very glamorous!!!
:-)

That sounds like a lovely way to spend a day. These internet friends are something, aren’t they?
I had a giggle at the Skipper and his medical forms. Rob also has NO CLUE about his own info. “Am I allergic to anything?” “Are my shots up to date?” “Have I ever had (fill in the blank disease)?” Sometimes I think I’m more secretary than wife!

It sounds like a wonderful lunch Shirley- Congratulations on selling your home- it looked so beautiful in the pictures- the new owners are very lucky people. I am sure your new place will be equally as beautiful.
I hope the move goes well and that you are soon settled in your new place.
Warmest regards,
Anna

I met a blogger for lunch and we didn’t take any photos either. Lame.

I’ve loved meeting a blogger — I met Fairlie from Around The Traps last year, and being the nervous nellie I am, i was worried she would think I was an axe-murderer! It would never occur to me to worried about the other person, just to worry about whether they’d be afraid of me! Weird!

LOL at Tracey’s comment. Okay, this is pretty neat. When I get myself to Australia to raise a glass with Jeanie, BB, and their mother (I already have the glasses by the way), I can also meet you? Okay then, that will kill two birds with one stone…or do I sound like one of them axe-murderers?

There is a totally pathetic reason for the ‘no pics’ situation… I promise to explain soon… once I make sure everyone suffers from as much vertigo as possible!
*cackles evilly*
I may not be an axe murderer, but I may do y’all in by stealth!!!

*MY* camera was in the car! By the time I had driven around and around (and around) looking for a park I was late enough so I thuoght I’d go back for my camera when settled. Did I go back? I did not…

But BB always has a camera. I thought it was some foreign growth on the end of her arm….
